Homework
Remember, since your homework is timed there is NO WAY to get it done in class.
No matter what, you have 30 minutes of science homework Mon-Thurs
PLEASE USE A TIMER FOR HW:
- Get ready to work. Have a snack first, get out ALL the supplies you'll need, and get comfortable.
- Start your timer and work UNINTERRUPTED until the time's up. Try to really concentrate and focus on what you are doing for the entire time. Don't rush! Use this time to learn the material. Think about what you are doing and what it means.
- Take a really short break. You could set your timer for 2-3 minutes and do a jig or jumping jacks or stretch or day dream, or listen to music or something else that you enjoy.
- Alternate working and short breaks until you finish. That's it. Now you can put away your things, set up your binder/backpack for tomorrow, and feel confident that you did a good job on your science HW.
